Anthony Joshua
British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua defeated Bulgarian athlete Kubrat Pulev to defend three world heavyweight boxing titles. It is reported by ESPN.
The fight for the title of champion took place in London. The challenger was knocked down three times for the fight, and in the ninth round the referee awarded Joshua the victory by knockout. The British boxer has defended the belts of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
Earlier, the British boxer spoke about a possible fight against the Ukrainian Alexander Usik. He noted that he considers not only the Ukrainian boxer, but also the compatriot Tyson Fury as a potential rival. However, Joshua believes Usyk is showing a more serious attitude.
Joshua also owns the International Boxing Association (IBO) belt. Now he has 24 wins (22 by KO) and one defeat.
