If the FDA approves the vaccine, it will become the third drug available in the US after vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech. The vaccine from Johnson & Johnson is one-component, one vaccination is enough.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden promised to vaccinate almost all Americans by the end of July.
