At the 2022 Winter Olympics, the last biathlon race for women, the mass start, has ended. It was attended by 30 biathletes according to the results of the overall standings, medalists and top 13 from the standings of the 2022 Olympics.

Ukraine in the women's mass start was represented only by Yulia Dzhima. After starting at one of the turns, the Ukrainian lost her balance and fell, losing ten seconds. After that, she rather slowly conducted the first shooting and could not close the last target. As a result, Julia earned a penalty loop.

She came out of it 23rd, but improved her result in the second shooting and went to ninth position.

During the third shooting, all biathletes had problems with work on the firing line. But the Ukrainian also made a mistake by not closing two targets. At the last shooting, Jima closed all the targets, while the rivals missed. But she shot 1:07 minutes, and because of this she only returned to the top 10.

Jima finished seventh at the 2022 Games, repeating her career-best result at the Olympics.

But the Frenchwoman Justine Brezat-Boucher became the Olympic champion in the mass start. Tiril Eckhoff and Marte Olsby Røiseland took silver and bronze medals from Norway.

Norway continues to lead the 2022 Olympic medal standings with 15 gold, 8 bronze and 11 silver medals. The second is Germany, and the United States closes the top three.
