The President of Argentina is on the side of Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.

According to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, his visit to Argentina was important. Unfortunately, there is very little Latin America in the history of modern Ukraine. Economic relations are lacking. All this has such an impact that Latin America for the most part was closer to the Soviet legacy.

This is what the President said during the final press conference on Tuesday, December 19.

“This affects many things – support for the peace formula, economic relations, non-support of any financial or military packages, etc. The arrival of such an extraordinary personality as President Miley (Javier Miley is the new president Argentina – ed.) to power in Argentina, turns, I believe, the political direction of Latin America,” Zelensky explained.

He also noted that Javier Miley is on the side of Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.

“He supports Ukraine and did it officially in parliament, came and declared total support for Ukraine, was against Putin's policies,” Zelensky added.

On the fields of Argentina, according to the President of Ukraine, the first personal meeting and “powerful acquaintance” with Javier Miley took place.

“I think that Ukraine will be very interested in this from the economic side with the new president of Ecuador, and they also received support from Paraguay and Uruguay. Therefore, the meeting in Argentina was important. We agreed with President Miley that our team will work and officials will meet,” Zelensky added. .

Recall that Vladimir Zelensky was at the inauguration of the new head of Argentina. There he spoke with several heads of state of South America regarding the participation in the upcoming Ukraine-Latin America summit. The goal is to test the Kyiv “peace formula” and end the Russian war against Ukraine.
