The Javelin missile penetrated an imitated lattice protection of the tank, similar to that used on the Russian T-72. These are the results of the first live firings at one of the training grounds in the area of the OOS in the Donbas using an American anti-tank missile system.
The shooting was carried out at a conditional target – a tank in a trench located at a distance of about 1.5 km.
In the lower part of the tank turret, a cumulative Javelin jet hit is visible, that is, it can be assumed that such protection is not so effective, as they believe in the aggressor country.
ATGM Javelin also showed the effectiveness of firing in difficult winter weather conditions, when strong wind and frost.
