Japan's largest cities to re-enter emergency mode due to coronavirus

The Japanese government has decided to reintroduce an emergency regime in the country's largest cities due to the worsening epidemiological situation, Japanese public television reported.

According to him, the corresponding decision will be announced by Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on Friday, April 23rd.

Local authorities are concerned about the upcoming May holidays and the associated risks of new outbreaks of the disease caused by the coronavirus.

In this regard, the emergency mode will be introduced in the prefectures of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo.

We will remind that earlier the government of Ukraine also announced the extension of the emergency regime and quarantine measures until June 30.
