Japan stressed that the actions of Russian soldiers violate international humanitarian law.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said that Russia should be held accountable for its actions in the Kiev region.
He wrote about this on his Facebook.
According to Kishida, Japan strongly condemns the atrocities of Russian soldiers in Ukraine.
“I am deeply shocked that terrible atrocities are being committed against civilians in the vicinity of Kyiv. The killing of innocent civilians violates international humanitarian law. This is absolutely unacceptable, and Japan condemns this in the most decisive way. Russia must be held strictly accountable for these actions,” Kishida stressed.
Nap Remember, earlier Japan announced the need to continue to impose and tighten sanctions against Russia.
