Japan can transfer high-tech equipment to Ukraine necessary to continue the counteroffensive.
< p>Ukraine is expecting a new package of assistance to Japan before the start of winter.
This was said by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan, Serhiy Korsunsky, on Radio NV.
The Ukrainian ambassador refused to say that Japan can transfer Ukraine. He clarified that this is not about weapons, but about high-tech means, which are also needed for a counteroffensive. The Ukrainian authorities have already handed over to the Japanese the list of necessary funds.
“They are studying it very carefully and understand the urgency of the need to supply these things. There are electronics and other means that we will really need in the future. I really hope that this will happen. And in the near future, even before winter, we will be able to send it to Ukraine and use it for its intended purpose,” the diplomat said.
Recall that in August, Japan announced another package of assistance to Ukraine.
