Japan condemns North Korea's missile tests, which threaten not only Japan, but the entire international community. Hirokazu Matsuno, Secretary General of the Japanese Cabinet of Ministers, announced this, RIA Novosti reports.
“Today, North Korea allegedly carried out a missile launch. Such actions pose a threat not only to Japan, but to the region and the entire international community. We strongly condemn this,” he said.
According to the Secretary General, there was no information about the damage after the alleged missile launch. Matsuno ordered to act in three directions: to conduct a detailed analysis of the situation, to inform people in detail and in a timely manner, and to take all necessary measures in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Earlier it became known about the launch of an unknown projectile towards the Sea of Japan. It is reported that this is the fourth launch of North Korean missiles in 2022. The previous ones took place on January 5, 11 and 14. In the first two cases, Pyongyang announced successful tests of supersonic missiles. On January 14, two short-range ballistic missiles were launched from a railway missile system.
