US President Donald Trump has acknowledged that Ukraine did indeed ask the US for additional Patriot air defense systems.
The head of the White House said this at today's press conference, Clash Report reports.
The US President said he would look into the request.
“Ukraine invited Patriot. I'll take a look. But it's very expensive,” Trump said.
He also said that he was “not happy with what is happening in Ukraine.” The US President once again called for an end to missile and drone attacks: “This needs to stop. Up to 7,000 people are dying every week on both sides.”
