В Belgorod and the Belgorod region on the afternoon of April 7, an air raid warning about a missile danger was announced. Then Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on the downing of “4 aircraft-type UAVs by the air defense system” in the Belgorod region – on approach to the city.
According to him, as a result of “repelling an air attack” in the village of Shagarovka, shrapnel hit a car in which there was a family of six. Gladkov announced the alleged death of one person.
He also added that in Shagarovka a sign and the façade of a commercial building were cut by shrapnel.
