Italy is preparing a new package of military aid to Ukraine.

Italy will approve an increase in military aid to Ukraine as early as December 2024.

This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, citing its own sources. Reuters.

Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Italy has approved nine aid packages, including two Franco-Italian SAMP/T air defense systems.

Reuters sources said Prime Minister Georgie Maloney's government is likely to approve the 10th package by the end of December, but declined to provide details. Until now, the procurement process has been a state secret.

Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy already presented Maloney with the Victory Plan in October 2024. At that time, he thanked Italy for all its help and support for Ukraine.
