From tomorrow, a curfew will be imposed in Italy, a ban on leaving the house after 22:00 without a good reason will apply throughout the country. The newspaper La Stampa writes about it.

According to the newspaper, the corresponding order has already been signed by the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. According to the document, shopping centers will be closed on weekends and holidays, museums and exhibitions will stop working.

As part of the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection, high schools and lyceums in Italy are being transferred to distance learning, meanwhile, junior students will continue to attend classes, but always in protective masks.

The restrictions will also apply to public transport, the occupancy rate of which should not exceed 50%.

Earlier it became known about the plans of the Italian government to extend the emergency regime, introduced against the backdrop of a worsening epidemiological situation, until January 31, 2021.

On the eve of the French authorities also announced their intention to introduce a curfew in Paris and the Ile-de-France region due to the increase in the number of cases of coronavirus.
