France intends to increase the supply of military equipment to Ukraine. It is reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP) with reference to the Elysee Palace.
According to the French edition, Paris decided to deliver additional military equipment to Kiev, as well as fuel support. It is noted that this step was taken following a meeting of the Defense and Security Council in the Elysee Palace.
Earlier it was reported that Germany would send weapons to Ukraine, including 1,000 anti-tank guns and 500 Stinger missiles. “Our duty is to do what we can to support Ukraine in its defense against Putin’s invading army,” the German government said. In addition, the German authorities approved the transfer of 400 anti-tank guns produced in Germany from the Netherlands and 9 D-30 howitzers and ammunition from Estonia.
