The conflict between striker Lionel Messi and Barcelona President Josep Bartomeu continues. This became known to the newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
According to the newspaper, the football player and the functionary did not establish a dialogue. It is noted that Messi and Bartomeu have not yet spoken, either in person or by phone.
On September 16, Barcelona's new coach Ronald Koeman commented on the striker's attempt to leave the club. Koeman said that the situation hardly affected him, stressing that the main conflict was between Messi and the club's leadership.
