One of the Russian women injured in an attack by a man armed with a knife in Turkey is in serious condition. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a law enforcement source.
The interlocutor of the publication said that the woman received nine stab wounds. “Her condition is serious, but, as doctors say, the most difficult period is over, there is a tendency to improve,” the source added.
The attack on the Russians in Turkish Istanbul took place on Sunday evening, January 24. As a result of the incident, two women and one man were injured, local residents came to their aid. Later it became known that the attacker was the 40-year-old garbage collector Hassan Hussein.
Hussein is currently detained. It is noted that the Turk had at least 30 convictions. Moreover, he is mentally unstable.
