In London, trials of a new drug, Storm Chaser, have begun to gain rapid immunity to coronavirus. Reported by The Guardian.
According to the publication, scientists from University College London (UCLH) are developing the drug. The drug they have created is already in the first phase of clinical trials on volunteers. Antibodies will be administered to them in two stages, after which people should develop an immune response that will protect them from coronavirus from six months to a year.
According to the developers of Storm Chaser, in case of successful research, the drug may appear in civil circulation in the spring of 2021. He will be prescribed as an emergency treatment for sick people.
Earlier in Russia, they announced the development of an analogue of the drug for coronavirus, which was used by US President Donald Trump. The appearance of the drug is expected at the end of 2021, said Alexander Gintsburg, director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.
