According to preliminary data from the ballistic and navigation support service of the TsNIIMash Mission Control Center (part of Roscosmos), on August 19 at 07:04 Moscow time the engines of the Zvezda service module will be turned on, “which will operate for 47 seconds, and the impulse value will be 0 , 67 m / s, “the message says.
It is noted that the ISS orbit is being corrected in order to form ballistic conditions before launching and docking of the Soyuz MS-19 manned transport vehicle, as well as undocking and landing of the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft.
Earlier, the ISS orbit was corrected on June 24.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft is scheduled for October 5. The film crew of the film “Challenge” – director Klim Shipenko, actress Yulia Peresild, as well as the spacecraft commander, cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, should arrive at the station on it. They will be filming the first feature film in space.
