ISS orbit lifted to prepare for spacecraft launch with actress Peresild
Experts have corrected the orbit of the International Space Station before the launch of the Soyuz MS-19 manned spacecraft, on board of which actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko will arrive for filming, Roscosmos reports.
The engines of the Zvezda service module turned on at 21:54 Moscow time and ran for 31 seconds. After the maneuver, the height of the station increased by 750 meters.
Earlier it was reported that Peresild and Shipenko successfully passed all the necessary exams before the upcoming flight into space. The actress also talked about working on the world's first feature film to be filmed in orbit.
We add that the director and the leading actress will go to the ISS on the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft on October 5. Cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov will fly with them. The filmmakers will return to Earth together with cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky on October 17.
