The International Space Station (ISS) lost its orientation in space during the testing of the engines of the Soyuz MS-18 manned spacecraft, on which the film crew of the film “Challenge” will return to Earth. This followed from the negotiations of the astronauts, which were broadcast by NASA.
– We received an emergency message from colleagues (from the American segment of the station) – a loss of orientation, – said Anton Shkaplerov, a cosmonaut in the Moscow Region, to a specialist in the Mission Control Center.
The specialist explained that the traffic control system was being tested.
Later, information appeared that the ISS re-established its orientation with the help of the engines of the Russian segment.
