ISS crew congratulated compatriots on the Day of Russia

The cosmonauts of the 65th long-term expedition to the International Space Station – Oleg Novitsky and Pyotr Dubrov – congratulated all compatriots on the Day of Russia. They emphasized that every year the meaning and significance of the holiday celebrated on June 12 are becoming more and more important, close, in tune with the feelings of the citizens of the Russian Federation for the Fatherland.

Oleg Novitsky stressed that Russia for all Russians is the most dear place on Earth.

“In our hearts we feel an inextricable connection with our history, with spiritual values, and this invisible but strong thread connects all generations. Our country is rich in smart, talented and purposeful people,” the astronaut emphasized.

“You and I can achieve tremendous success, make scientific discoveries, create masterpieces of culture that are admired by the whole world!” Added Petr Dubrov.
