Netanyahu was delighted by the US strike on Iran, and thanked Trump for his determination and assistance.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said history will remember US President Donald Trump's decision to strike Iran's nuclear facilities.
He said this in a video message.
“Congratulations, President Trump, your courageous decision to strike Iran's nuclear facilities using the awesome and righteous power of the United States will change history,” the Israeli prime minister said.
Netanyahu said the US strike on Iran's nuclear facilities “exceeded all expectations.”
“It (the US attack – ed.) did something that no other country on Earth is capable of doing. History will remember that President Trump acted to prevent the most dangerous terrorist state in the world from getting the most dangerous weapon,” the Israeli leader said.
Let us recall that on June 22, the US bombed Iran's nuclear facilities from planes.
According to Trump, the sites in Fordow, Natanga and Isfahan “were completely and irreparably destroyed.”
“Remember, there are many more targets. Today's was the most difficult of them all, and perhaps the most deadly. But if peace does not come quickly, we will pursue other targets with precision, speed, and skill. Most of them can be destroyed in minutes,” the US president said.
Following US airstrikes on nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natan and Isfahan, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has threatened to continue its activities, Tehran Times reports.
“Following the brutal attacks by the Zionist enemy in recent days, the nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanga and Isfahan were barbarically attacked by Iran's enemies at dawn today. This is a violation of international law, and in particular the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,” the statement said.
