Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennet called on the US not to return to the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA). He made this request during a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden. The Axios portal writes about this, citing an unnamed Israeli official.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, Bennett during the conversation assured that if the United States does not sign a deal with Iran, “nothing will happen.” And if the document is signed, Tehran will receive “billions that stimulate its malicious activities in the region.”

On Sunday, February 6, the Israeli prime minister had a telephone conversation with Biden. They discussed the situation in relations between Russia and Ukraine, as well as “the growing Iranian aggression, as well as steps to block the Iranian nuclear program.”
