The Israeli Embassy in Kiev expressed concern “in connection with anti-Semitic incidents during the celebration of Hanukkah in Ukraine, as well as in connection with manifestations of anti-Semitism on social networks.”

The department thanked law enforcement officers for their quick response.

“Thank you to the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies for their quick response and we ask you to continue to act decisively against those who incite hatred and violate the law,” the statement says.
