Israel to resume isolation due to coronavirus

Israel's Cabinet has approved the resumption of isolation in the country due to the coronavirus. This is reported by The Times of Israel, citing local media.

Restrictions will resume from September 18 at 14:00 local time. They will last three weeks. In particular, the Israelis will have to stay within 500 meters of the house. Hotels, schools and shopping centers will also be closed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the introduction of quarantine measures was necessary. However, he denies that the country's government failed to defeat the coronavirus.

For all the time, 153,700 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Israel. Of these, more than 114.6 thousand patients recovered, another 1108 people died.
