The Israeli Air Force launched strikes on the outskirts of Damascus from the airspace of the occupied Golan Heights. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of the command of the Syrian army.
“Exactly 22.35 tonight hostile Israel committed an act of aggression from the occupied Golan Heights in the vicinity of Damascus. Air defense systems repelled hostile missiles and shot down most of them. Material damage was inflicted, ”the statement says.
The Israel Army declined to comment on the reports.
Last time, the Syrian army repelled a missile attack near Damascus on March 1.
The previous attack was reported on February 15th. Then the air defense systems of Syria also repelled the Israeli strike and shot down most of the missiles in the skies over Damascus.
