Since the beginning of the exacerbation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Hamas militants have fired over 1,500 rockets across the territory of the Jewish state in three days. The Israeli army announced this on its Twitter page.
“Over the past three days, Hamas has fired more than 1,500 rockets from the Gaza Strip at Israel, terrorizing civilians at a distance of 140 km,” the army press service said in a statement.
Meanwhile, shelling from both sides continues. So, last night from the territory of the enclave in the direction of Tel Aviv and Jewish settlements in the suburbs of Jerusalem, dozens of missiles were launched, some of them were intercepted by the Israeli air defense system “Iron Dome”.
According to the portal Dunya Al Watan, air-raid sirens were triggered in cities located in the north of the country – in Haifa, Nahariya and Akko. Some of the rockets reportedly hit the buildings, after which the fires began.
