“We have had them before – I assume that we will check the circumstances in order to allow the import of goods, humanitarian aid, or so that our hostages, individual hostages, can leave,” the official explained.
The Israeli prime minister said a ceasefire would only hinder the release of the hostages and the war effort.
“This will hinder our efforts to free the hostages, because the only thing that works on these Hamas criminals is the military pressure that we apply,” Netanyahu said.
