The Israel Defense Forces said it had assumed operational control of the Gaza port. The area was used by Hamas as a training base for its naval forces.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported this on Telegram.
The IDF said that the military was able to establish operational control over the port of the Gaza Strip. It is noted that during the operation the following were destroyed:
During the operation, all buildings in the port area were cleared.
Recall that the IDF blew up the Hamas parliament building in Gaza after the Israeli military of the 7th Armored Brigade and the Golan Infantry Brigade captured it.
