The situation in the Middle East is only gaining momentum.
The Israeli army said it was expanding operations in the Gaza Strip, particularly in the Zeitoun areas of Gaza City and Jabaliya.

“Southern Command continues to expand its operational activities into additional areas and works to “kill terrorists and strike Hamas infrastructure,” the IDF statement said.
It is noted that the 36th Division is operating against a Hamas battalion in the Zeitoun area in the vicinity of Gaza City, while the 162nd Division is operating in the vicinity of Jabaliya.
Today, both areas are considered Hamas strongholds.

The Israel Defense Forces is moving to the next phase of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip. It is carried out clearly, selectively and decisively.
Israeli diplomat Alexander Ben Zvi said the fate of the hostages taken by Hamas on October 7 was still unknown because negotiations for their release were no longer ongoing.
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herze Halle says the military is “close” to eliminating the Hamas “military system” in the northern part of the territory.
