“I think 29-0 is the right continuation. To say that he returns for one fight, and it will already be 30-0, ”Ismailov said. He considered that Nurmagomedov would earn more with such a return than in his last two confrontations combined.
After defeating American Justin Gage and the third defense of the lightweight division's title, Nurmagomedov announced his retirement. He stated that the decision to leave the sport was very difficult for him, since he has been training all his life. The fighter noted that now he will have to look for himself in a new capacity.
