Magomed Ismailov
Mixed style fighter (MMA) Magomed Ismailov commented on his fight with another Russian athlete Vladimir Mineev during the AMC Fight Nights tournament in Moscow. TASS reports.
“Got it? It looks like yes. Apparently, all this is connected [with the scuffle], ”Ismailov said.
The incident took place on the evening of December 24th. Ismailov, being in a cage, entered into a verbal skirmish with Vladimir Mineev. Both athletes were guests at the event. The conflict escalated into a fight, which in turn attracted fans – they began to climb over the fence. To suppress the mass brawl, the help of the police and riot police was required. After the incident, Ismailov and Mineev were taken to the police station for questioning. Later, the athlete was released, he faces administrative responsibility for petty hooliganism.
Mineev and Ismailov headed the FIght NIghts Global tournament in the fall of 2018. Their face-to-face confrontation ended in a draw.
