The famous Islamic preacher Adnan Oktar was sentenced to 1075 years in prison in Turkey. This is reported by the NTV channel.
In particular, Oktar was found guilty of creating a criminal organization, sexual abuse of children, harassment, kidnapping of minors, blackmail, illegal imprisonment, espionage, fraud and falsification of documents. Together with the case were 236 people. 78 of them will also go to jail for various periods.
The Islamic preacher, also known by the pseudonym Harun Yahya, is the author of over 300 books, translated into 76 languages. He also hosted an analytical program on his A9 channel, which aired a program that combined theological judgment and dance.
He was arrested on the above charges in July 2018. Then Oktar was also suspected of creating a criminal gang. The man was arrested in 1986 on charges of “changing the social, economic or political order” of Turkey through religion. Then Oktar was acquitted and released from custody.
