Iranian drones penetrated Israeli defenses and carried out two strikes.

The work of Israel's air defense

The Israeli military confirmed that two Iranian drones had managed to penetrate its air defenses and reach targets in the north and south of the country, one of the few times Iranian drones were not intercepted.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported this, CNN reports.

One of the drones hit a two-story house in the city of Beit Shean near the Jordanian border. Photos from the scene show a large hole in the wall, broken windows and doors, and the area around it covered in rubble. According to rescuers, there are no casualties, and the search under the rubble continues.

Another drone crashed in open terrain to the south. The IDF said Iran launched at least six drones in the attack, with the rest shot down, including over the Arava Desert and the Golan Heights.

Since Israel began striking Iran last week, Tehran has launched more than 1,000 drones, according to Israeli military estimates. Most have been shot down, but two have reached their targets.

Let us recall that the body of a Ukrainian woman who died during the attack was pulled out from under the rubble in Israel.
