Iran has no intention of resuming diplomatic talks with the US over its nuclear programme as long as Israel continues to strike its facilities.

This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the Financial Times reports.

Thus, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry responded to the initiative of France, Germany and Great Britain, which announced their readiness for new negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program with the participation of the United States.

“Iran is ready to consider diplomatic measures again once the aggression is stopped and the aggressor is held accountable for the crimes committed,” Araghchi emphasized.

He also said Iran sees no point in negotiating with the US as long as Washington remains complicit in the crimes.

Despite this, Araghchi noted that Iran is open to dialogue with European countries and is ready for new meetings and discussions in the near future.

Earlier it was reported that retired US Army Lieutenant General Ben Hodges expressed doubts about the ability and determination of US President Donald Trump to strike Iran.

We previously reported that Iran attacked Israel with ballistic missiles.
