Iran rattles sabers: the 'world's longest-range drone' was shown at the parade

Mohajer-10 has a stated flight range of 2000 km and can stay in the air for up to 24 hours.

On Friday, September 22, in Tehran, during a military parade marking the 43rd anniversary of the war with Iraq, the Iranian armed forces unveiled a drone with the “longest range”, as well as ballistic and hypersonic missiles.

About this Daily Sabah reports.

In addition to the Shahed drones, which are well known to Ukrainians, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, General Hossein Salami, who were behind the podium, also inspected the latest Mohajer-10 UAV. It has a claimed range of 2,000 km and can stay in the air for up to 24 hours. The drone's payload can reach 300 kg, which is twice the capacity of the Mohajer-6 drone.

U.S. officials previously accused Iran of providing the Mohajer-6 drones, among other unmanned aerial vehicles, to Russia for the war against Ukraine. Tehran denies this.

“Our forces ensure security in the region and in the Persian Gulf,” President Ibrahim Rais said at the parade. “We can teach the people of the region that resistance is the way to go today.” It is not submission and hesitation that forces the enemy to retreat, but resistance.”

Previously, Iranian media published a video that showed Mohajer-6 drones among other military equipment with the text “prepare your vaults” in Persian and Hebrew, with a hint at Iran's main rival in the region – Israel.

Recall that during a recent visit to Tehran, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited the exhibition of the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, where the products of the Iranian military-industrial complex were presented .
