Iran already tried to transfer missiles to Russia during the war, but the agreements fell through, the intelligence agency said.
Iran intends to provide Russia with short- and long-range missiles in addition to UAVs .
This was announced by the director of the Mossad (Israeli intelligence and special tasks agency) David Barnea, writes Times of Israel.
“Amid the ongoing invasion, which began in February 2022, Russia used an Iranian-made Shahed-136 drone after it received hundreds of units from Tehran, despite Western countries warning Iran against exporting weapons,” the article said.
Barnea noted that Iran already tried to transfer missiles to Russia during the war, but the agreements were thwarted without specifying details.
“We are afraid that theRussians will give the Iranians what they lackadvanced weapons, which will certainly jeopardize our peace and perhaps even our existence here,” said the director of Mossaddu.
Recall that according to media reports, the United States will use Patriot during a joint exercise with Israel simulating an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.
