Israeli military intercepted two Iranian missiles.
Israel recorded a “barrage of rockets from Iran” after a ceasefire with Tehran was announced to have “entered into force” on the morning of June 24.
CNN and Sky News reported this, citing the Israeli military.
“Recently, sirens were heard in northern Israel after missiles were detected launched from Iran towards the State of Israel. Defense systems are working to intercept the threat,” the IDF emphasized.
It is noted that an air raid alert was activated in the north of the country after missiles were detected. The military asked people to go to bomb shelters.
An IDF spokesman later said its forces had intercepted two missiles launched from Iran.
Let us recall that today at dawn Iran attacked Israel with missiles. As a result of the Iranian strike, there are casualties in the south of the country. It is noted that the missile hit a residential building in Beersheba.
Note that later US President Donald Trump declared a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. According to him, the “12-day war” will end after a phased implementation within 24 hours.
