Iranian ayatollah calls on Muslims around the world to take action against the American leader.
One of Iran's top Shiite clerics, Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, has issued a fatwa (theological and legal opinion) against US President Donald Trump, calling him an “enemy of God” who must be fought by Muslims around the world.

The report said a group of believers had approached the Grand Ayatollah, who is empowered to make decisions within the framework of Islamic rules and traditions, asking him to clarify the duties of Muslims in response to the threat to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other leaders.
The fatwa issued by the ayatollah states that anyone who threatens or attacks the leadership and authority of the Islamic ummah (community) is considered an “enemy of God.”
A senior Iranian cleric added that “any cooperation or support for this enemy by Muslims or Islamic states is haram (forbidden).
“It is necessary for all Muslims of the world to make these enemies regret their words and mistakes,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared victory in the war with Israel and said that Tehran had given “a slap in the face to America.”
In response, US President Donald Trump called Khamenei's words a “brazen and stupid” lie, noting that he actually owed him his life. According to the American leader, he personally restrained Israeli and US troops from killing Khamenei.
