The American airline American Airlines intends to distribute new iPhones and iPads next year to pilots, flight attendants, boarding gates and aircraft maintenance technicians.
Earlier this month, the airline began issuing iPhones 12 to its agents at checkpoints at Reagan National Airport in Washington. This made it easier to work with clients. If the pilot is successful, the iPhone 12 will be available to all airline employees over the next year.
In addition, American Airlines maintenance technicians have already started receiving the seventh generation iPad. The distribution should be completed by the end of June. After that, employees will no longer need to carry with them two different tablets for different aircraft and activities.
On the iPad for pilots, the airline has added real-time weather apps and turbulence tracking software to devices.
