While the whole world is waiting for the iPhone 13, which is expected to be announced next month, the network has details about the problems of the next generation of iPhone after it.
It turned out that Apple may lose 3nm chips for the new product, which it had counted on before. This follows from the data of Internet insiders close to the manufacturer TSMC, writes Gizmochina.
So, the company responsible for the release of a large number of modern SoCs has already reported problems with the launch of the 3-nm technical process within the previously indicated time frame. The delay will be approximately 3-4 months.
Because of this, next year's iPhone will be less energy efficient and not as powerful as it could be.
Interestingly, the problems with the new generation chips were not limited to Apple. So, the South Korean IT giant Samsung can also release flagships of early 2022 (Galaxy S22) based on 4nm chips.
