Digitimes has confirmed that Apple will use LTPO panels in the next smartphones – iPhone 13. Several display specifications have been revealed.
The high energy efficiency of LTPO panels will allow iPhones to use a 120Hz refresh rate without damage to battery life.
Until now, all iPhone models only support 60Hz refresh rates. That is, in the iPhone 13, the frequency can double. This will make the picture smoother.
In fact, Apple smartphones will have ProMotion, just like the iPad Pro. This function was the main feature of these tablets.
Sources also say that the power consumption of the iPhone 13 components will be reduced by 15% compared to the iPhone 12. In addition, it is rumored that the new smartphones will use a sub-screen fingerprint scanner.
