Invisible protests: Russians have found a way to express disagreement with Putin

Massive anti-war protests are taking place all over the world and in Russia. People take to the streets to declare that they are against the occupation of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. It is known that about 7 thousand people have been detained since February 24 – they face criminal charges and fines.

But the protesters have found a new way to express their disagreement with Putin – the walls of houses, fences and signs help them in this. Graffiti, stickers, quick drawings – and while all of them are quickly torn down by utilities, some elements of the protest can hang for more than a day. Soon, in all the major cities of Russia, the walls themselves will tell Putin about his bloody mistakes.

Not only the people of Russia are protesting against the war that was unleashed in Ukraine – even the stars of the aggressor country opposed the occupation attempts. Maxim Galkin, Ivan Urgant, Ksenia Sobchak are just a small part of the celebrities who did not remain silent and supported Ukraine.

Foreign artists also supported our country with massive cancellations of concerts in Russia. Among them are Iggy Pop and The Killers, Green Day, Imagine Dragons.
