Investor sentiment in the Eurozone rose to a one-year high

Stock exchange traders see the pandemic's peak as over

Investor sentiment continued to improve in March. As the analysis company Sentix announced on Monday in Frankfurt, the economic indicator it had collected rose by 5.2 points to 5.0 points. This is the highest level in over a year. The assessment of the situation brightened particularly significantly. The expectation component rose only slightly.

Sentix explained the improvement mainly with the hope of investors that the economic recovery from the Corona slump will continue. The pandemic is likely to have peaked on a global level, says the analysis company. Investors are therefore betting on opening up the economy.

In addition, the economic recovery process will continue to be supported by the loose monetary and fiscal policy. “This and the likely pent-up demand that is expressed in the current high savings rates, however, clouded the inflation outlook considerably from the point of view of investors.” The corresponding indicator points to significant inflation risks.
