In Russia, they decided to start mass production of Orsk refrigerators again; at the industrial site of the same name. So far, a trial batch of refrigerators has been released.
The production of Orsk refrigerators has been resumed after many years of inactivity.
This was reported by the press service of the government of the Orenburg region.
< p>“A trial run of a pilot batch of 100 refrigerators has been completed. Serial production has been launched,” the report says.
Local authorities also assured that at present the enterprise is ready to produce up to 120,000 refrigerators a year. In the next two years, it is planned to increase production to 200 thousand units per year.
“Restarting crisis production is a very important area for the regional government to maintain the stability of the region's economy,” said Orenburg Region Governor Denis Pasler.

Note that the production was scheduled to start in June 2021, but “for objective reasons” the launch date was postponed to March 2022. At the same time, the plant planned to launch the production of old-style refrigerators, and in a few months – a new model of the refrigerator.
Recall that due to the sanctions imposed against Russia, the Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor withdrew from all joint ventures with Rosneft.< /p>
