Instead of the destroyed corvette “Askold”: Russia moved a new ship from Tatarstan

< p>Ship "Cloud" is a project 22800 "Karakurt", which is a carrier of cruise missiles "Caliber".

Russia probably moved the corvette Tucha, built in Tatarastan, to Novorossiysk.

This is evidenced by satellite images from December 5, reports DEFENSE EXPRESS.

An OSINT analyst MT_Anderson has appeared on the Internet, which was made on the basis of satellite images and demonstrates the current status of all four Project 22800 Karakurt missile corvettes, which act as carriers of Caliber cruise missiles.

In the photo for December 5, 2023, two missile corvettes of project 22800 “Karakurt” are visible at once: “Amur”, completed and already passed the test, but not yet accepted into the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and probably the ship “Tucha” .

“Unlike the previous three Karakurts, which were built at the facilities of the Zaliv plant in temporarily occupied Kerch, the Tucha corvette was built at the shipyard of the Russian city of Zelenodolsk (Tatarstan), on the banks of the Volga. Therefore here it is quite logical to assume that the Russians transported the new carrier of the Caliber, instead of the virtually destroyed corvette Askold, to Novorossiysk via the Volga-Don Canal,” experts note.

Recall that on November 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a shipyard in Kerch, as a result of which the Askold missile carrier ship was damaged.
