The Ukrainian Armed Forces thwarted an attempt by Russian military equipment to cross the Irpin River on a pontoon bridge near Gostomel. This is reported by CNN, referring to a new satellite image of Maxar Technologies for March 13.
CNN confirmed the veracity of photographs showing the collapsed bridge and sunken enemy vehicles, adding:
Currently, Ukrainian troops in Irpen have stopped the advance of the invaders to Kyiv. Now the Irpin River creates a significant obstacle to the further movement of the Russian military.

During the day, the air defense forces also hit four aircraft, three helicopters and an unmanned aerial vehicle of the occupiers.
