Instagram has added the Live Rooms feature, which allows you to broadcast live with up to four people. This was reported in the company's blog.
Until now, as “Rambler” reported, no more than two people could take part in the broadcast on Instagram at the same time. Yesterday, the management of the social network announced a doubling of the maximum number of participants in the live broadcast. To take advantage of the new feature, swipe left, select the Live Camera option, add a title, tap the Rooms icon and add guests.
The company said it hopes the new feature will give users more creative options, as well as the ability to increase reach by giving guest subscribers an on-air notification.
“Since the start of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, we've seen people use Live in different ways. There were special moments in the live broadcast last year. Creators of all stripes – from fitness instructors to musicians, beauty bloggers, chefs and activists – have relied on Live to create moments and connect people. We can't wait to see even more creativity with this much-requested update, ”the company said in a blog post.
