Instagram for the first time in 11 years will allow posting from the web version

Instagram will allow users to publish posts from the web version. This feature will appear on October 21st. The social network has existed for 11 years, but all this time from a PC it was only possible to view user accounts, and to publish posts – only from a smartphone or tablet.

Among the updates that Instagram offers is the ability to create collaborative posts. This is how it works. The feature is called Collabs. If you use it, the names of two accounts will appear in the publication header, and both authors will display this post in the feeds of subscribers. Shared posts will have shared comments, and likes will also be counted together. Collabs can be applied not only to posts with photos, but also to short videos. There is a nuance – the user with whom you want to create a publication must give you permission to do so.

Since Wednesday, October 20, the social network has a function of collecting donations for non-profit organizations.

As previously reported on kp.ru, Instagram users were required to indicate their date of birth. In order for everyone to do this honestly, artificial intelligence was called on to help – it analyzes posts in which the user is congratulated on his birthday, and draws conclusions.
