According to the Downdetector service, which monitors problems with access to Internet resources, the Instagram social network crashed again. Users around the world complain about problems with uploading photos and accessing the mobile application and desktop version of the service. Most often, complaints come from users from the United States and Canada, and in Russia, most of the complaints came from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
More than a thousand complaints were received on the service – 40% of users report problems in the operation of the mobile application, 36% indicate errors in posting, the rest pay attention to difficulties with downloading. Many users claim that the application does not load news feed and stories.
At the beginning of the day, the social network announced new features that will be added during the week. Users will be able to collaborate with each other, add photos and videos through the browser, and raise money for non-profit organizations.
Previously, Instagram promised to warn users in advance about technical failures. First, the function will be tested in the USA – users will receive notifications about large-scale problems in the application,
The last major Instagram glitch occurred on October 4th. Then the problems covered all Facebook services. Social media websites and apps did not open, and pages in apps did not refresh. Users around the world have encountered problems.
